MEHRANGARH FORT
The Mehrangarh Fort rises, impenetrable, perpendicularly, from a hill 125 meters above Jodhpur’s skyline. And steeped in mythology and history, this ancient fort is one of the most iconic in all of India. All that is left at the second gate of Mehrangarh Fort are the marks of cannonball attacks by the Jaipur army. Battlements with strong and well-chiselled walls lining Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal and Sheesh Mahal, exquisitely carved panels, latticed windows, and elaborate decorations are all here.

UMAID BHAWAN PALACE
Built by Maharaja Umaid Singh in 1929, Umaid Bhawan Palace was the answer to the famine that ravaged the state during the period. It was also referred to as the Chittar Palace because stones from the Chittar hill were employed in its construction. The palace was designed by a famous British architect and took 16 years to construct. The palace’s architecture, built from marble and sandstone, is described as an amalgamation of Western Art Deco, Classical Revival and Indo-Saracenic styles. The place is recognized as one of the most beautiful buildings in the world and one of the largest private residences.

JASWANT THADA
An attractive tourist site, the pristine memorial was established to pay tribute to the agent Jaswant Singh near the end of the 1800s. His wise investments in his state, Jodhpur, were led by his ruler, Jaswant Singh. He tried making railways, controlling dacoits, bringing down the rate of crime, and, in general, boosting Marwar’s economy. Jaswant Thada is open to the public and is maintained and administered by the Mehrangarh Museum Trust (MMT). The Trust maintains a museum in Jaswant Thada with didactic displays and portraits of the Marwar kings. The data serves as an introduction to understanding Marwar’s backdrop as depicted in the portraits. Its grounds offer a peaceful backdrop for early morning concerts at music festivals such as the

GHANTA GHAR
The ghanta ghar, or clock tower, is situated in one of Jodhpur’s busiest neighborhoods. The tower was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh, after whom the nearby Sardar market is named. Sadar Market is a favorite for travelers seeking spices, traditional clothing, and decorative jewelry. The Clock Tower is one of the very famous landmarks in Jodhpur. The Blue City Heritage Walk starts and ends at the Tower.

MANDORE GARDEN
The stretch of things to see in Jodhpur city is located north of Mandore, the earlier capital of Marwar. The place has its own historical connection, as it has the deewals, or cenotaphs, of previous rulers of Jodhpur. These are built like Hindu temples, not the original umbrella-shaped cenotaphs that are specific to Rajasthani architecture. This enclosure also has a museum, temple, and art gallery. At night, a light-and-sound show in this garden gave visitors insight into the Marwari royal empire’s vigorous cultural heritage.

KAILANA LAKE
This is one of the best picnicking places in the city that is located on Jaisalmer Road and is a vast man-made lake. It looks like a lovely splash of color on a canvas. The lake’s beauty stays with you long after you’ve left. For anyone looking to take to the lake, boating and zip line facilities are also offered.
